Agape Retaining Walls, Inc. took down a large Rockwood Retaining Wall that was built for the home builder during the construction of this subdivision in Des Peres, MO. The homeowners wanted to use the same Rockwood Classic block with a new hardscape design that would soften the hardscape area. The homeowners also chose us to transform their backyard with this Romanstone Holland paver patio and Rockwood steps. This large structural retaining wall in St. Charles, MO was designed and installed using a Rockwood Retaining Wall 8” Classic block, Natural in color, manufactured locally in STL by Lemay Concrete Block (314-638-9940). The homeowner chose Agape Retaining Walls, Inc. as their retaining wall contractor of choice to replace a large backyard RR tie wall with this great looking Rockwood Retaining Wall. In the process we expanded the backyard living space dramatically, making good use of property that had been unusable for years, and increasing the property value of the home at the same time. The fun part about this retaining wall design for me was that it had the added benefit of less excavation for the project, keeping down our cost over other contractor designs. We bid against 9 other contractors on this retaining wall project, but in the end the homeowner decided that Agape Retaining Walls, Inc. was truly “Simply the Best” retaining wall contractor he could find in St. Charles, MO. |
