This is one of the reasons I like the Rockwood block so much.If you are building a wall and the block you use is off by 1/16th of an inch and you go up 16 rows you can be off 1 inch! This type of wall is referred to as an open faced block and can be filled with rock or planted making a very green wall. Oftentimes, when planted, in a year or two you will not even see the wall. When built correctly these Hercules Walls are very structurally sound and in some cases can save money by reducing the cost of labor. |
